GRITS is a regional launch sponsored by\u00a0by<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soarrocketry.org\/\"> SoAR (Southern Area Rocketry)<\/a>, a National Association of Rocketry section, serving Atlanta and North Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gritslaunch.com\/location\/\">launch site for GRITS<\/a>, though, is in South Georgia, near\u00a0Tifton. The 2016 event begins on Friday, April\u00a01, and continues through the weekend with rockets flying from 10am to 6pm all three days.<\/p>\n<p>With a waiver to 20,000 feet and support for rockets with up to N motors, many large rockets take flight\u00a0at GRITS.
