 | The Corporal was the first guided missile put into use by the U. S. Army. Originally designed as a test vehicle to study the problems associated with long range rockets, the Corporal was later turned into a tactical battlefield missile capable of carrying either a conventional or nuclear warhead. The first test vehicle was flown in 1947. Full production vehicles made their appearance in the summer of 1952. The basic design saw some modifications until the Corporal was retired in 1964.
ASP's model features a balsa nose cone and balsa conduits, basswood fins, and decals.

 | The Kappa-7 was designed as a booster for Japan's later Kappa-8 and Kappa-9 rockets as well as being used as a single-stage sounding rocket. It was determined, however, that the vehicle was unsuitable as a single-stage rocket. The lone Kappa-7 flight was made on November 18, 1959 to confirm the motor's suitability as a booster.

The original Bandit was designed by Mark Kellner and was one of the first models to use a ducted ejection system of baffles to eliminate the need for recovery wadding. The elegant design of the internal baffles is hidden as the model is built, but teaches the principles of cooling the gases before the chute is deployed.
The Semroc Retro-Repro Bandit is very similar in design to the original. Its laser-cut internal tubes are thicker and the holes are slightly larger to accommodate modern engines. The original's die-cut fins are replaced with more accurate laser-cut fins.

Mike was one of the most prolific designers of model rocket kits and accessories over his many years in the business. Best known as the inventor the Cineroc, Mike is also remembered fondly for all of his classics designs such as the Blue Bird Zero. It was released in the 1980 Estes Catalog as #1335.

 | The Estes Orbital Transport first appeared in the 1968 Estes catalog. Inspired by a painting on the cover of the November, 1959, issue of Popular Mechanics magazine, the Estes Orbital Transport kit featured a futuristic design with a gliding orbiter. The rocket's booster is 23 inches long and .976 inches in diameter. The orbiter is 8.6 inches long and .736 inches in diameter.

What can a dictator of a small third world country give to his yung'un that tells the civilized world that he means business? Just any old baby bottle is not good enough to nurse his baby boy. No, it has to serve as a message to the world that this yung'un is different. He can use this gift to provide nourishment and recycle the empties to let everyone know that he is important and can do some-thing with his life that most others cannot do. He can change the world, or at least blow up a small piece of it. This model does not include baby's milk or nuclear material, but will provide some of the fun of the original.
