This bright red LED can be used to replace the bulb in many 6V model rocket launch controllers such as the Estes Electron Beam.

The LED is slightly taller than the lamp bulb that it replaces. If the launch controller has a cover over the bulb, the cover may have to be discarded.

Replacing the bulb with this LED should make an Estes controller safe to use with Quest's Q2G2 igniters. To ensure your safety, however, please test the controller with one of the igniters first.
