Black Brant IV Model Rocket Kit

Aerospace Speciality Products Black Brant IV Model Rocket Kit

The Black Brant IV is a Canadian sounding rocket designed to launch payloads to over 500 miles high. First flown in 1964, the two-stage rocket was used into the 1980's. Over fifty flew from launch sites all over the world, including Peru, Spain, Norway, Greenland, and the U.S. among others.

ASP's single-stage scale kit is nearly three feet tall and features a balsa transition and hard balsa nose cone, laser-cut basswood fins, water-slide and self-adhesive decals, and a quick-change engine hook. You can fly this model on a wide range of engines, with fairly low altitudes on a C, but practically out-of-sight flights on an E! Designed primarily for 24mm C, D & E engines, it can also be flown on selected 18mm engines with an adapter (not included). A bright metallic parachute returns it to the ground for flight after flight.

Eggstravaganza 24 Platinum Edition Egglofter Model Rocket Kit

Aerospace Speciality Products Eggstravaganza 24 Platinum Edition Egglofter Model Rocket Kit

The newest version of ASP's popular and contest-winning Eggstravaganza series of Egglofter kits features an aerodynamic and lightweight clear plastic egg cone, a shock cord made of Kevlar and elastic, and laser-cut G10 fiberglass fins. The tapered silver shroud reduces drag while giving plenty of room for a parachute.

These kits have been used extensively in NAR competition and have helped modelers bring home many trophies. This egg lofter can be flown in either Altitude or Duration events. The egg cone has a section in the base that will fit some smaller altimeters and also comes with the option of using a sponge-like foam egg protector that conforms to the inside of the cone and to the egg. The egg protector gives superior protection against breaking the egg and also makes mating the two pieces of the egg cone much easier.
