Black Brant IV Model Rocket Kit

Aerospace Speciality Products Black Brant IV Model Rocket Kit

The Black Brant IV is a Canadian sounding rocket designed to launch payloads to over 500 miles high. First flown in 1964, the two-stage rocket was used into the 1980's. Over fifty flew from launch sites all over the world, including Peru, Spain, Norway, Greenland, and the U.S. among others.

ASP's single-stage scale kit is nearly three feet tall and features a balsa transition and hard balsa nose cone, laser-cut basswood fins, water-slide and self-adhesive decals, and a quick-change engine hook. You can fly this model on a wide range of engines, with fairly low altitudes on a C, but practically out-of-sight flights on an E! Designed primarily for 24mm C, D & E engines, it can also be flown on selected 18mm engines with an adapter (not included). A bright metallic parachute returns it to the ground for flight after flight.

    Corporal (24mm) Model Rocket Kit

Aerospace Speciality Products Corporal (24mm) Model Rocket Kit

The Corporal was the first guided missile put into use by the U. S. Army. Originally designed as a test vehicle to study the problems associated with long range rockets, the Corporal was later turned into a tactical battlefield missile capable of carrying either a conventional or nuclear warhead. The first test vehicle was flown in 1947. Full production vehicles made their appearance in the summer of 1952. The basic design saw some modifications until the Corporal was retired in 1964.

ASP's model features a balsa nose cone and balsa conduits, basswood fins, and decals. Designed to fly on 24mm C, D, and E motors, this single-stage rocket can also fly on select 18mm using an adapter (not included).

ASP's scale model is both fun and challenging to build. It includes a full decal set. At 3 1/2 feet tall, this is an impressive model that always attracts attention. Rockets built from this kit have placed in both regional and national competitions.

WAC Corporal (24mm) Model Rocket Kit

Aerospace Speciality Products WAC Corporal (24mm) Model Rocket Kit

The WAC Corporal was the United States first sounding rocket. Seventeen WAC and WAC B rockets were flown from 1945 to 1947. The WAC was launched with the aid of the Tiny Tim solid propellant booster. After the booster burned out it fell away and the liquid fuel propelled sustainer stage continued its upward flight.

ASP's 24mm WAC Corporal is a single-stage "Fun Scale" model of the historic rocket. Designed to fly on D and E motors, it's still light enough to fly on selected 18mm motors with an adapter (not included).

Arcturus Sounding Rocket Scale Model Rocket Kit

Rocketarium Arcturus Sounding Rocket Scale Model Rocket Kit

The Arcturus sounding rocket was designed and used for scientific data gathering, mainly meteorological. Itas intended to serve as a replacement, or upgrade, to the popular Arcas sounding rockets. It's main selling point was that it could be launched from the existing Arcas launch platforms, avoiding new infrastructure expenses. The Arcturus rocket never gained a wide user base as new two-stage Arcas configurations served the same purpose more efficiently.

The finished scale model stands an impressive 38.5" tall. This is a big model rocket kit!
