The Estes Tazz is a re-imagining of the classic Gyroc of the 1960s. The Tazz is an awesome addition to any rocketeers collection. Launch it up to 700 feet on a C6-3 engine and watch as it spins back down to earth. The specially designed engine mount has two molded tabs that hold the wing elevators in the flat position during boost for nice straight-up flights. Then at apogee, the ejection charge kicks the engine mount out, the two elevators snap into their full up position, and the Tazz spins like crazy on the way down.
Slightly larger than the original Gyroc, this updated model features laser-cut balsa wings with alignment tabs that fit into pre-cut slots in the body tube. This makes aligning the wings much easier during assembly. The clever molded plastic retainers make installing and replacing the elevator actuator rubber bands very easy.
