ASP's Trainer 29 is a sport model rocket kit designed specifically for those builders looking to get started in larger size rockets and composite engines. The idea behind the kit is for you learn several skills (such as cutting fin slots, creating a payload section, etc.) that may be new to you if you’re a first-time rocketeer, or if moving up from smaller sized rockets. These skills will hopefully enable you to move forward with larger models and also to help in building your own ideas from scratch.

The three-foot tall kit features our heavy-duty 1.9" body tube, laser-cut plywood fins, ply centering rings, 3D printed nose cone, steel cable shock cord mount and comes complete with a Top Flight nylon parachute and a screw-on motor retainer.

The Trainer 29 also makes a great sport model for the experienced flyer! It’s capable of flights to over 2,000 feet with a G motor.

Makes a great intro to mid-power rocketry and flies fantastic on 29mm F and G engines.
