This 3/16" (5 mm) diameter two-piece launch rod is necessary for larger model rockets that are powered by C11, D, and E engines. It can be used with the Estes Porta-Pad II and Porta-Pad E Launch Pads. It also works great as an alignment tool on model rockets that require two 3/16" launch lugs.
The Estes 3/16" launch rod does not work with the Astron II launch pad.
