In addition to products from larger companies like Estes and Quest, we sell model rocket kits from several smaller manufacturers such as Rocketarium.

Marc Slabbinck’s Saucer

Marc Slabbinck started Rocketarium. We knew Marc as the guy building and launching really impressive large, high-power saucers at our local rocketry club launches.

Marc started an online rocketry store in 2008 and soon started producing and selling rocket kits that he designed and produced himself.

The year 2013 marked several milestones for Rocketarium. The company released one of the most unique rocket kits ever, the Retro Rebel. The company was acquired by Pavel Denau of Denau Hobby Supplies. And JonRocket.com began selling Rocketarium kits.

In addition to a few odd-rocs like the Retro Rebel, and a handful of sport models like the Maxtermind, Rocketarium produces an extensive line of scale kits.

Rocketarium’s New Rebel Kits

Mega RebelRocketarium continues to create unique kits that take advantage of computer-aided design and production.  The Mega Rebel and Retro Rebel kits feature dozens of precision-cut plywood pieces which go together like a 3-D jigsaw puzzle to create a couple of amazing looking, and great flying, model rockets.  The two new kits are now available at JonRocket.com.

Rockets for Halloween

Celebrate Halloween by building and flying these spooky selections from the JonRocket.com catalog.

Rocketarium’s recently released WitchCraft model rocket kit features a detailed pre-cut fins representing a witch flying on a broomstick.

Semroc’s Goblin model rocket kit recreates the popular Estes D-powered kit.  It includes waterslide decals of bats and goblins.

New Products Added

In the past few days, we’ve added many new products to the JonRocket.com online catalog and we are planning to add more in the days to come. 

We’ve added a number of exciting products from Estes including the mid-power Leviathan Pro Series II Model Rocket Kit. Recently added products from Semroc include the Wac Corporal Scale Model Rocket Kit.  Rocketarium has supplied us with some new scale model kits as well as a few new odd-rocs.
